Sure enough, we have snow in Australia. But the d Sure enough, we have snow in Australia. But the deep stuff in North America. It was completely foreign to Mya. UPDATE - BACK IN LOCKDOWN If you haven't heard, M UPDATE - BACK IN LOCKDOWN If you haven't heard, Melbourne is now back in lockdown for 6 weeks. Mya and I are safe and well. Our family is safe and well. We are incredibly grateful for that, and for all your kind messages of support. Sadly this is probably a necessity to try and get COVID19 under control, but also so frustrating because we were so close to having the virus eradicated, and there have been so many mistakes made by our leaders that have gotten us back to this point. As much as we want to be out travelling, going on new adventures and creating new content to share with you, this year has been extremely challenging to do that. All we can do is our little part, trying to be responsible and hope that in 6 weeks time the situation is much better. What is the situation where you are? How are you coping? I know some places in Australia are COVID free, some places in the world have managed it well and are now back to normal, whilst other places continue to deal with the day to day challenges. Until we can hit the road again, we will go back to reposting some of our favourite moments. Hopefully they put a smile on your face and possibly give you some inspiration for adventures once this is all over. In the meantime we appreciate your continued support and look forward to being able to share more adventures with you when all this is over. #NoPawGetsLeftBehind #AdventureWillWait
It's been a bit of a tough week for all of us. CO It's been a bit of a tough week for all of us. COVID19 has been spreading throughout our home city of Melbourne. We now have 12 suburbs in lockdown. There isn't need to panic, but people do need to start doing the right thing. People need to socially distance! And if your sick you need to stay at home and get tested. At the start of last week, I started feeling a little sick. I was pretty sure it was just a cold, but I went and got tested and then isolated for the rest of the week. Thankfully the test came back negative and after a couple of days of rest and working from home I was better. As a community we need to all pull together and do our part. P.S. Im sorry we've been quiet of late. I've been so busy on so many different projects and have some really exciting things to share with you all soon. #NoPawGetsLeftBehind

Happy Birthday Mya! Who would have thought 8 year Happy Birthday Mya! Who would have thought 8 years ago that we would be where we are today. We've been through highs and lows, explored four different countries, encouraged each other to do better and created tones of memories together. I hope you have a great day and know how loved you are. Incase your interested Mya's birthday cake is made of 500 grams of @prime100petfood SPD cooked loaf. The frosting is made from low fat condensed cheese with honey and it's decorated with Prime100 treats. I'd like to thank you all for being apart of the last year of adventures with Mya and can't wait to share our trip around Australia with you. P.S. There is only two things guaranteed in life and th There is only two things guaranteed in life and that is death and taxes. We are going to be really boring this weekend at home doing taxes. What do you have planned for the weekend? Hopefully something far more exciting? I should try and get myself excited about doing my tax return. Like this photo. It's the same place, just different time and perspective. Maybe I can look at things differently and turn doing my taxes into an adventure, or a trip down memory lane. If I get a good return, that would mean more adventures with Mya right? Is there something that you could look at in a different way that would change your outlook on it? We travelled almost 80,000 km around North America together and have another 20,000 km road trip planned around Australia. SAVE THIS ONE FOR LATER Top 10 Tips For Visiting SAVE THIS ONE FOR LATER Top 10 Tips For Visiting Banff National Park. Banff is definitely one of the most beautiful places in Canada. These are our tips for a visit: 1. Hike to the Upper & Lower Falls of Johnston Canyon. In winter & summer the canyon is absolutely stunning. The walk is 2.6 km each way, & you should allow 2-3 hours to make the return trip. What's even better is that it is dog friendly (leashed). 2. Pack a good camera & take a photo tour with Dani from @BanffPhotoWorkshops. She will show you the top spots & give you some great tips on how to get the perfect photo. 3. Check out Banff Sunshine, Lake Louise and Mt Norquay for a ski / snowboard. 4. Take a trip at the start of November and experience the Banff Mountain Film Festival. 5. Check out Lake Louise. It can get really busy & I found the best photos were at dusk or dawn. Dogs are welcome & you can go for a paddle or ice skate. 6. Take a trip to the Columbia Icefields & see the Athabasca Glacier. You can take a glacier tour & visit the Skywalk, which offers amazing views of the area. Sadly dogs arent allowed on the tours or at the Skywalk. 7. Download an App that will alert you if the Northern Lights will be visible. We found a great place to view them was Lake Minnewanka which is dog friendly (leashed). 8. For those places that aren't dog friendly Veronica's Dog Grooming & Daycare is happy to take care of your pup, whilst you head out & explore. 9. If you'd like a little more adventure check out the @Canmorecavetours or go iceclimbing with @yamnuskamtnadv. 10. Our favorite pet friendly places to stay were Tunnel Mountain Resort, The Moose Hotel by @banff.lodging.co or just outside of Banff @copperstoneresort. Other places worth a visit is the Banff Hot Springs, Lake Minnewanka (dogs are only allowed in summer), Bow Valley, Two Jacks & the Banff Gondola (a little pricey). Did we miss anything? We decided to make a spontaneous and last minute trip to Banff. We spent the night sleeping in the back of the Jeep. God it was cold, but we woke up to this beautiful sunrise.
